Meet our partners
Lugacraft Uganda
Lugacraft is a Ugandan-led organization that has served communities of women and their families since 2010. Their mission is to empower disadvantaged women, children, and youths, teaching them life-changing skills and helping them to create community businesses.
Co-Directors Robert (at right) and Vivian (below) host volunteers from all over the world year-round.
Vivian Dibya - Co-Director
Vivian (known to many as “Mama Divine,” as Divine is the name of her firstborn) is responsible for the day-to-day operations and outreach at Lugacraft. She uses her natural skills as a community organizer to enlist stakeholder trust and support for each project. None of these projects would work without her exemplary leadership!
Robert Dibya - Co-Director and Founder
Robert founded Lugacraft in 2010 when he saw a need for leveraging community-based teamwork and leadership to accomplish collective goals. Robert never hesitates to use his voice and connections to elevate the work of all of the amazing women he is surrounded by. Robert helps to organize, submit, and carry out grant proposals, and is our direct point of contact any time funds change hands.
Constance & Leah - Community Volunteers
Constance and Leah are two young women who are involved in our Secondary School Scholarship Program. They assist Robert and Vivian in the collection, organization and administration of information about the more than 260 scholarship students we have enrolled.
